EMMA WINSTON FLOATING EARRINGS | GIVEAWAY

Last summer, People’s StyleWatch dubbed pearl floating earrings as a jewelry box must-have. While pearls are definitely not my thing, I’ve always been intrigued by floating earrings and the illusion they create. Floating earrings are awesome because they make it look like gems are floating up your ear, or that you have multiple piercings.

I was super excited to partner with New York-based jewelry designer, Emma Winston, who gave me the opportunity to try a pair of floating earrings.

Emma Winston has created a contemporary line of jewelry that ranges from edgy to elegant. Some of her pieces are bold and sharp while other designs have more vintage, classic flair. There’s something for everybody.

I chose the gorgeous blue Five Stone Colored Drop Earring Jacket (also available in pretty pink or green stones). They are delicate earrings, crafted with white gold over sterling silver and colored cubic zirconia.

The floating earring jacket comes in two pieces–the stud and the part that floats. They were easy to handle and put on (even with long nails). The best part is, studs can be mixed and matched to create a personalized look. Yes, these are definitely a jewelry box must-have!

Adjust the studs along the jacket to get the floating illusion. I used the lowest hole.

Inspired by the Hudson River, I love how these stones just flow along my ear.

I also adore the design of the Triangular Pavé Necklace (hurry, on sale now here). I had a hard time deciding whether I wanted 14K yellow or white gold over sterling silver, but finally went with the yellow gold and pavé cubic zirconia. I could have special ordered rose gold too, but I like the contrast between the yellow gold and the stones.

This is a trendy necklace, and since it’s 24″ long, it can be layered with shorter necklaces to create multiple looks. I like wearing it as a stand-alone piece, too.

This is a light, wearable necklace for day or night.
