A quick hello as I’m fighting off yet another cold. I’ve been sick so many times in the recent months probably because of the abrupt changes in weather (June gloom and layers one day, blazing saddles and tank tops the next), the weird bugs Eddie brings home, dehydration (been running on coffee only ever since we got a Keurig), and my nonexistent running and weight training regimen.
I guess right about now (halfway through the year) is a good time to re-evaluate those resolutions to get fit and healthy. And with that, I’m sharing a casual athleisure look that shows my legs and bares a little bit of my midsection, just to get me motivated to keep these parts of mine looking decent and feeling strong.
This shirt comes cut ever-so-slightly longer in the front so it can be tied easily. The knot can be worn high (like I have) or lower, but the high knot is more comfortable and less awkward on me.
Remember these cute Love bags by Rebecca Minkoff? I loved the classic quilting pattern and chain strap and all the fun colors and sizes it came in. I think this design is now discontinued, but I picked mine up at the The Real Real for less than $75 +20% off with their daily discount code. And if you want the really real classic quilted bag, they also have authentic Chanel for amazing prices.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
And yes, I think I’m serious about getting back into a fitness regimen. Can any of you recommend some of your favorite shops or brands for workout leggings and tops? Thank you!
