FLORAL TOP AND BURGUNDY SHORTS

Hello, and happy February! Already. Kind of freaking out how fast the first month of 2017 passed me by. Seems like winter is just about gone in LA now. Not complaining, just not sure I’m ready to stop with the layering and boots!

For this post, I decided to transition with some dark florals and my ongoing favorite color, burgundy.

I love wearing tights with shorts because it adds texture, color, and a little bit of dressiness.

This zip-up blazer by Express is suuuper old. I love the zip closure and the classic fit, which is why it has survived many closet cleanouts and continues to stay with me. Recently, Express has launched a Petite line with some cute pieces, like this cutaway blazer. Maybe I should update my closet?

The scallop design on the shorts is super cute.

This floral top from Forever 21 has a split in the side, which makes it perfectly cute for tucking in the front and leaving the back out.

Can’t say it enough: my favorite boots.
