YES, A FALL TRENCH IN SPRING

Hello! I hope you’re having an awesome week so far.

Well, I wasn’t so sure about blogging about a fall trenchcoat right now, but the truth is I’m one of those girls who’s always cold and can always stand to throw on another outer layer. Especially indoors with air conditioning, like at the movie theater.

Whenever I go to the movies, I always grab a long coat (I wish I could take a blanket) to keep my arms and upper legs warm throughout the flick. And when my old “movie coat” had to be retired because it lost too many buttons, I copped this trench on sale at Forever 21 online. I wore it last weekend to the historic TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood to watch “Captain America: Civil War” and was so happy it did the trick.

My superhero stance.

I paired the dark, fall-worthy trench with a floral tank and a mint green crossbody to lighten up the entire look.

And I had to go with distressed jeans that keep me cool when the coat can get too warm (especially in the sun).

I first heard of the term “air-conditioned” jeans in the 80s and I still love calling them that.
