FAVE FALL HUES: OXBLOOD AND ARMY GREEN

Hello, and happy countdown to Thanksgiving! I’m enjoying the calm before the storm. Work is expected to get super busy (I’ll have to work at home through the holiday weekend) and I haven’t even gotten my grocery list sorted for Thanksgiving dinner. Eddie and I will be at my mom’s house in Pasadena on Turkey Day, where I’ll pop the wine bottles at noon and start preparing appetizers while the turkey roasts. I’m usually already stuffed and drunk by dinnertime–but hey, that’s tradition … Continue Reading »

OOTD: STRIPED TOP, SHORTS, AND SANDALS

Happy Friday! I’ve recovered from my hangover, just in time for the weekend. Things have gotten busy at work since everyone is gearing up for the holidays and time away from the office–I really can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week. But I’m definitely looking forward to family time, food, and days off. This LA weather makes it hard to believe that Christmas is around the corner too. Today it’s 84F, and I broke a sweat in my mesh-sleeved top, shorts, and sandals. This … Continue Reading »

JEREMY FISH ILLRABBIT SWEATSHIRT AND JEANS

Happy Sunday, and welcome to my two-day hangover. We celebrated @chumpchampion’s 40th birthday on Friday night, where dozens of us gathered for a delicious Italian meal downtown. The restaurant (Maccheroni Republic) charged only a $5 corkage fee, and I showed up with three bottles of red wine (I shared, of course!). Afterwards, we walked to the new and improved Clifton’s Cafeteria and had more drinks. Needless to say, I had one of the worst hangovers on Saturday, and I’m still not feeling 100% … Continue Reading »

OOTD: FLORAL BLAZER, GRAY AND SILVER DETAILS

Happy Monday! I’m back in the office today. Finally got a rental car…a white Hyundai Sonata. It feels like I’m steering a boat to work everyday, but it’s comfortable and gets me where I need to be! This #ootd is actually from Saturday…and it’s a bit out of my comfort zone…because I never really wear blazers. I think it’s because they can look a little too businessy or serious for my casual everyday look. But I gotta admit that I’ve been seeing a … Continue Reading »

OOTD: OLIVE TANK AND BLACK JEANS

TGIF! I have been working at home all week since my car has been in the shop. I actually get more work done at home than in the office, and responding to work emails in pajamas hasn’t been too bad! Today I took a late lunch and walked down to the Arts District to see Christine, my talented hairstylist and confidant at Knives Out Salon. You can see in today’s pics that she gave me a fresh cut and blow out. The sun was going down by … Continue Reading »
