Happy New Year, friends!
I hope you’re having a great start to 2017. I’ve been sick since our cold-weather rooftop party shenanigans on NYE, but I’m getting better. This morning we took down our Christmas tree and now it really feels like a fresh start. Cheers to that!
In this outfit post I wanted to show you my new over-the-knee boots. These are so far the best dupes I’ve found for Stuart Weitzman Highland boots. And I got them on Amazon.
I initially ordered these in black, but to my surprise, the package contained these gorgeous burgundy ones. Eddie said they were awesome so of course I kept them. And ordered the black ones a couple weeks later. haha.
I love the burgundy + camo combo!
These are slim-fit OTK boots with ties in the back. I didn’t a problem with them slipping at all, though I did have to pull them up a couple of times, especially after sitting with bent legs. Not sure how they would work out for ladies with more athletic legs, as they are a pretty snug fit around the calf and above the knee.
The color is gorgeous. They look more reddish in these photos, but they are a true, luxurious shade of burgundy.
I also have the Lowland dupe version in black, which I love. You can see them in my NYC post from last Spring here.

Haha my Christmas tree is still up! Not sure when I’m gonna take it down because I like looking at the colorful lights. Those boots look gorgeous! I’m glad that you kept the burgundy ones because they really suit you well. I agree that the color combination is perfect. It works so well and has a nice balance. Sorry to hear you are sick!
