MULTICOLOR PATCHWORK TIE WAIST SHIFT DRESS c/o MakeMeChic

Hello! And long time no post. Sorry about the MIA blog status…I was super busy with a work trip to Hong Kong. Hong Kong was beautiful, and I actually shot an outfit while I was there…but the pics didn’t turn out that great so no HK outfit post. 🙁

But today I have a special collaboration with MakeMeChic to share with you.

I received this multicolor patchwork dress from MakeMeChic, a SheIn sister site, and fell in love with the colors as well as its unique shape.

The high-low hemline and the short length in the front is perfect for my height (5’1″). And heels.

Eddie says it looks like I’m wearing a superhero costume because the low hemline looks like a cape. I love the dramatic look…it’s what makes the dress special.

The tie at the waist gives the shift dress a cute, flattering fit and adds pleated details. Before I tied the belt it looked like I was wearing a smock or a mumu. Once I tied it though–it was total cuteness.

Love the gathered pleats and the color combo!

This dress is true to size (I’m wearing XS) and the quality of the material is quite good. You wouldn’t believe the dress costs less than $14!

I added sparkle with my Dainty Wrist leather wrap bracelet, which is a perfect fit for my tiny wrist!

Hong Kong sounds like a great place to visit! A pity the outfit shoot there didn’t turn out the way you wanted but I love your Makemechic dress. The colour and sash detail are just perfect! And for that price…Have a wonderful week!
