Hello and Happy Thursday! I hope you’re having a terrific June so far. We’ve been having pretty weather in LA, and not so much of the June Gloom that we usually get this time of year.
For this post, I got together with the fast-fashion shop, SheIn, to share a fun, summery look. I chose this floral crop top and high-waisted shorts outfit because I loved the pattern and colors.
I rarely wear crop tops so when I first pulled the shirt out of the package it looked hilariously small to me. “No way I’m going to fit in this.” Reviewers for this particular piece warned about it running small or suggested sizing up. But I wear a S or XS in just about everything (including other Asia-based fast-fashion labels) and went with S. It fits tight, but I think a M would not have been as cute.
If I had bigger boobs, the top might not have worked at all. The slim fit is flattering overall. I haven’t worn a midriff-baring top in ages, and my abs don’t look as good as they used to, but I still felt comfortable in this–thanks partly to the high elastic waistband.
A part of me did wonder whether I’m too old to be wearing a crop top…
…but I’ll worry about that in another 10 years.
My mom got me these super cute cork-sole sandals from her last trip to Spain. They’re so comfortable and I think leather shoes make the best souvenirs!

I’ve read mixed reviews, so I always get a little nervous, especially with the sizing. SheIn is everywhere these days and most if not all bloggers said the quality is great. And hell no, you’re not too old for a crop top and you look not a day older than 25 and that outfit is gorgeous on you.
