MESH PANEL TOP AND ROSE SHORTS

Hello! Yep, I’m enjoying the beautiful weather in LA. It’s so nice out, I had to take advantage of not having to be in the office today.

I recently shopped the sale/clearance section on Forever21.com and copped both this mesh-panel top and these rose print smock shorts for less than $15. Shopping F21 online has always been hit or miss for me, where multiple times an XS has ended up fitting way too small or way too large. A small part of me can’t help but think that the clearance section is where they send all the quality-control rejects…but I totally scored with these pieces.

I initially paired red ankle strap heels with this outfit, but the tall shoes along with the already too-short shorts made the look way too leggy (for a weekday afternoon in the park). I went with moto boots to add some grit to those roses.

I love tops with mesh panels. They’re so breathable, and mesh is just classically feminine and sexy as well as raw and edgy.

I feel like it’s totally okay to show your bra if it has a cute design! I’ve been wearing nothing but cute cage bralettes for the past year.

I have one white floral pants that I have only worn a couple of times because I have no idea what top to wear it with! Yo unjust gave me an idea on how to style it so thank you! It’s still too cold for shorts but once it’s warmer, I might do a fashion post with it.
